An Air India Express flight conducted a flight trial at Kannur International Airport

A Boeing 737/800 aircraft from Air India Express arrived at Kannur International Airport on 20th September 2018. The flight departed from Trivandrum Airport by 9:47 AM and reached Kannur International Airport by 10:25 AM. Flight commander Captain A S Rao was in charge of the aircraft, along with first officer Aravind Kumar. As planned, a total of six approaches were carried out for the DVOR approach procedure check – three each at the 07 and 25 ends of the runway. The aircraft also successfully docked with one of the Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) in the airport apron. The flight was airborne for approximately 3 hours and departed by 12:45 PM after completing all the six approaches.
