Implementation of Online Disembarkation Card Facility for Foreign Nationals

With reference to the directions from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Kannur International Airport is proud to announce that the Disembarkation Card required to be filled by foreign nationals upon their arrival in India has been digitized. Foreign nationals can now submit the Disembarkation Card online up to 72 hours prior to their arrival in India.

Departure

A passenger needs to head to Immigration counter along with his/her boarding pass, travel documents and cabin baggage. At counter an officer will verify the passenger’s passport and visa and might ask few questions about the destination. After verification, the passport is stamped with the departure date from India for the trip.

Arrival

On arrival all passengers are required to approach arrival Immigration counters. At the counter an officer will verify the passenger’s passport and visa. After verification, the passport is stamped with the respective arrival date.

  • Valid Passport.
  • Visa stamp/ Copy of Visa documents.
  • Valid permits for work, residence, visit.
  • Letter/ document supporting reason of visit.

Note – In terms of education, if one has not cleared 10th standard, then the passport will be marked with a stamp displaying “Emigration Check Required”. You will need to get clearance from immigration office every time you wish to travel outside India.
